Test Date: 23.5.2010(Sunday) Timings: Evening 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM
Total Seats: 60 ((Inclusive of seats reserved for NRI/Sponsored candidates) Additional seats for Foreign Nationals.
Eligibility:
A candidate must have:
•Passed Bachelor's degree examination in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least one paper of Mathematics at Senior Secondary (10+2) level securing atleast 50% marks in aggregate.
• Appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by Jamia Hamdard.
Selection procedure:
A written Entrance Test will be conducted. The Entrance Test paper will be based on questions from subjects of BCA of Jamia Hamdard.
Instructions
1. Application form and processing fee may be paid through Credit Card/Demand Draft of any reputed bank of the required amount in favour of "JAMIA HAMDARD" payable at New Delhi. Details of the draft must be filled in the columns carefully.
2. The cost of Application form (Online) : Indian Nationals : Rs. 500/-
Foreign Nationals/NRIs/Sponsored Candidates : Rs. 1500/- (or US $ 30)
3. The Entrance Test / Processing fee (non refundable) for each course of study : Indian Nationals : Rs. 500/-
Foreign Nationals/NRIs/Sponsored Candidates: Rs. 2000/- (or US $ 40)
4. If the candidate has not paid online through Credit Card and or not uploaded his/her scanned photo and signature, then he/she has to send the printed form alongwith the required amount of fee (through D.D) after pasting a photo and signature on the printed form.
5. The candidate should have a printer attached to the computer because he/she is required to send a print of the online application form to JAMIA HAMDARD if the candidate has not paid online through Credit Card and or not uploaded his/her scanned photo and signature.
6. Print only on an A4 size paper in "Portrait Layout". Print only if the Bar Code appears properly on the screen, else refresh(Press F5) the page and then print.
7. Once you complete your online application form and submit the same but payment was not made online and photo and signature is not uploaded then take a print out and send the same to JAMIA HAMDARD after doing the needful as follows:
o Sign in the Box provided for the purpose.
o Paste your photograph in the box provided for the purpose.
o Enclose the demand draft of the applicable amount with full name, address and
application number on the reverse of the demand draft.
8. The candidate is required to send the attested photocopies of the listed documents (Do not send Original certificates) along with the printed form, mentioning the Form No. on all documents in an A4 size envelope. (DO NOT STAPLE THE DOCUMENTS WITH THE FORM. USE U-CLIP)
o Mark-sheet of the qualifying examination passed, if the result has been
declared.
o Mark-sheet of all other examinations passed (including I yr, II yr and III yr
or of graduate examinations).
o Certificate in respect of claim of benefit under any category.
o Enclose copy of the requisite certificate, if belonging to SC/ST/PH category.
9. Once this form is received at the University with necessary enclosures, the online database will be updated and the candidate will be able to see the status of his/her application online. For this purpose the candidate needs to remember the password since it will be required along with the application no. for checking the status of the application.
10. Send in your completed application form to The Assistant Registrar (Admissions), Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi - 110 062 (India). Do not fold the application form. Use an A4 size envelope without folding.
