UNIVERSITY OF DELHI MCA - 2010

Admission to MCA - 2010 THROUGH JAM-2010

The Candidates who are appearing in the final year examination of the degree on the basis of which admission is sought are also eligible to apply.

Bulletin of Information alongwith the application form can be obtained from the Department between 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 2:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. against Bank Draft of Rs. 400/- for SC/ST and Rs. 800/- for others; drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi and payable at New Delhi.

For obtaining the bulletin and application form by post, the bank draft alongwith a self addressed stamped (worth Rs. 30/-) envelope (size 10” x 7”) should be sent to Office-Incharge, Room No. 113, Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, Opposite Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. The Department will not be responsible for any postal loss/delay.

Note : SC/ST Candidates shall be allowed relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya MCA-2010

MCA Admission - 2010 Testdate: 16.06.2010

Eligibility:
Graduate with minimum 50% marks and Mathematics as main subject at the Intermediate (10+2) level.
Entrance Examination Centre (with code No.)
01 Dehradun : M.C.A./ M.Sc. (all subjects) for female candidates only.
02 Delhi : M.C.A./M.Sc. (all subjects) for male & female candidates only.
03 Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar (Main Campus):B.P.Ed./M.C.A./M.Sc./B.Pharm. (all subjects) for male candidates only.
04 Jalandhar : M.C.A./M.Sc. (all subjects) for male & female candidates and B.P.Ed/B.Phram. for male candidates only.
05 Kanya Gurukula Mahavidyalaya, Roorkee Road Jwalapur, Haridwar : M.C.A./M.Sc. (all subjects) for female candidates only.

Note: On the basis of number of candidates Examination Centre may be changed.
Age limit:
For M.C.A./B.P.Ed. maximum age limit will be 25 years (28 years for Sponsored/NRI Sponsored) as on 30.09.2010. Further provided they this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 3 (Three) years for the SC/ST candidates.
How to Apply:
Application form and Information Brochure for entrance examination can be obtained from the office of Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar by paying Rs. 500/- in cash or by sending a demand draft of Rs. 550/- to the Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. The demand draft should be in favour of "Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya'' payable at Haridwar.
The candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination (except Sponsored/NRI Sponsored candidates) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates will have to submit compulsorily their final passing result of qualifying examination upto 15 October 2010.
Filled in application form for entrance examination may be submitted to the office of Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar.

Note: Number of seats can be changed without any prior notice. In case of vacant seats of NRI Sponsored candidates, the same can be filled by the sponsored candidates. For B.Pharm Course vacant sponsored seats (if any) may be filled by the general category candidates

Eligibility:
Candidates must hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree (minimum 10+2+3), in any of following:
(1) BCA
(2) B.Sc. in Comp Sc / Inf Tech / Electronics
(3) B.Sc. / B.A. with Maths/ Stats at graduate level. Candidates of B.Sc. / B.A. Honours must have minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average in Honours subject. Other candidates must have minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average in graduation, computed as average of marks in ALL subjects in which appeared (excluding optional subjects). Candidates must have passed in ALL subjects in which appeared in Class 10 (excluding optional subjects) with minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average, computed as average of marks in ALL subjects in which appeared (excluding optional subjects). Candidates must have passed in ALL subjects in which appeared in Class 12 (excluding optional subjects) with minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average, computed as average of best 5 subjects in which appeared (excluding optional subjects). Candidates graduating in 2010 can apply, provided they can submit marksheets by 31 October 2010. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programmes are eligible only if they acquired such qualifications as working professionals, and have passed the programme.
